Anne - Alcohol Ink Art Club

I really enjoyed and am still enjoying Anne's rose course and highly recommend it. I had completed another online rose course which I thought was good and was happy with my roses so initially I wasn't going to learn the roses course. I joined the floral membership instead. I really enjoyed Anne's style of teaching so decided to join the roses course as well. I am so glad I did! My roses have improved so much and am still improving it with different techniques on how to create different style of roses. From round detailed roses, to wispy perfectly imperfect ones, to roses with different gradients. Through the roses course my centers are now more detailed, the ripples are more defined and the roses have a softer edge. Anne breaks it down step by step, from beginner level to more advanced techniques. I love that how she explains step by step, what could be going wrong and how to fix it. She also goes through composition and her thought process behind it which is really helpful. The recordings are in real time and not sped up which really allows you to watch and learn how she creates her beautiful roses. Anne is a great, detailed teacher that gives timely feedback and very quick to respond to any questions. She is very encouraging and has inspired me to get creative again.

This course became available after I'd been practicing on my roses for a while. If I'd been able to start with the course immediately, that would've saved me quite some time of trail and error practice, as the course clearly explains the basics and provides you with many tips and tricks. Yet, there were still many new things that I've learned about creating a 'basic rose'. The course also includes tutorials for more experienced artists, e.g. different varieties of duo-color roses en the composition tutorials. These tutorials that go into detail about three different compositions are really useful. Creating an alcohol ink rose is one thing, creating a complete composition that makes a full painting is another thing. Step by step it is explained how to create the full paintings that are shown as an example. All in all, I think this is a great course and I'm looking forward to the future courses that Anne Roos will - hopefully - develop :)

I have really enjoyed the roses course, and I highly recommend it. I had never created roses using alcohol ink prior to the course. I have learned so much, and I am now capable of using the advanced techniques from the course. All the tutorials are very informative, and Anne teaches the techniques in such a way that you build your competence step by step. I uploaded the results from each session and received constructive feedback that enabled me to develop the skill further. I am now eager to sign up for Anne's floral membership. These types of courses where I can complete the sessions in my own time are, for many reasons, perfect for me.

Anne’s roses course was just what I needed to gain some control and confidence with alcohol ink on paper. Her step by step instructions were clear and the visuals were fantastic. There were great stopping points to pause and practice, and the entire course built in difficulty over several sections. The response to the roses I’ve created from this course has been positive and encouraging. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in furthering their progress with alcohol inks!

If you want to learn how to make roses or want to improve your roses, this course is a great option. Loved every bit of it.

Anne Roos does a fantastic job of breaking down the process of creating roses with alcohol ink. I have been making alcohol ink flowers for a while and am looking forward to adding some roses to my mix. Highly recommend this course to anyone interested!
