      How to Varnish Baubles Using Your DIY Varnishing Box

Which tools do you need? 

Baubles (glass/plastic)

Look for white or off-white glass baubles, ideally 6–8 cm (2–3 inches) in size. Alternatively, white plastic baubles will also work.

Manipulation tool

For the Marbled Textured Baubles: A mini mister and an ink blower are ideal. For the Roses Techniques: A brush and a heat tool are essential. I recommend using the back of a hot air brush styler with adjustable heat settings. My go-to is the BaByliss Smooth Boost 668E (300W).

Alcohol Inks + isopropyl alcohol 

For the rose colors, you’ll need alcohol inks, plus a gold alcohol ink for the edges. You’ll also need 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol. *Complete Tool Guide available within the course
