What we will create

This is a live creative exploration focused on play and discovery with alcohol inks

Together, we’ll play with ink flow, observe how it reacts and experiment with different levels of control and freedom. 

We’ll explore three approaches:

1. Go with the flow
A fast and intuitive way of working with the inks, allowing unexpected movement and beautiful blends to appear.

2. Controlled play
A more structured approach to building an abstract composition, so you can notice what process and style truly appeals to you.

3. The midway
Finding the balance between guidance and freedom, letting the inks do their magic while staying intentional.

Instead of aiming for perfection, we focus on exploration, curiosity and personal style.

You’ll leave with three abstract artworks and plenty of inspiration to further discover alcohol ink art and your own personal style.

  • What materials do I need?

    You’ll be given a complete supply list upon purchase. The basic materials are alcohol inks, isopropyl alcohol 91%/99%, synthetic paper, ink blower, and a heat tool (to speed up the drying process).

  • How can I join the live workshop?

    The workshop takes place live on Zoom. After registration you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and all practical details.

  • Do I need prior experience with alcohol ink?

    This workshop is open to beginners and more advanced creatives. Of course it helps if you have some experience (like any medium) but the workshop is made with beginners in mind.

  • What if I cannot attend live?

    You will receive access to the replay for 12 months. Live attendance is encouraged for the full experience, but you can rewatch and revisit anytime.

  • Will I be able to ask questions?

    Yes. There are dedicated reflection and Q&A moments built into the workshop so you can ask questions.

  • What if I want to pay in USD or another currency?

    The payment will be automatically made in your own currency, also when you see the amount in euro. If you have trouble making the payment with creditcard, please use Paypal instead. For some countries (USA/Canada), local taxes may be automatically applied at checkout.

  • What is your refund policy?

Alcohol Ink Artist Anne Roos Smink

Hi there! I am Anne Roos, an alcohol ink artist living in the Netherlands. My own alcohol ink art journey began back in 2018, and I have been addicted since. I have helped over 2000 creatives from all over the world in improving their alcohol ink art skills. I know how frustrating the process can be in the beginning, so please know: Good things take time! I am here to guide you through this process and give you step-by-step demonstrations and a wealth of advice that will help you improve your techniques and get control over those inks. I get so much positive energy from making my inks flow around on paper and I hope I can bring some of that positive energy to you!
